Anyways, we were so fortunate to be able to take our 2nd family vacation this year. Your mom convinced me that we should venture off to Mexico for the very first time. I'm not going to lie, I was very hesitant at first, but I'm sure glad that we went. It was so very beautiful, but very humid at the same time. Your Papa's body doesn't do very well with humidity, but we managed.
You had a blast with all the pool and ocean time we had while over there. You got to show off your newly acquired swimming skills too. We had put you in adaptive swim classes over the summer and they really helped you in become more confident in the water. We didn't rent a car while over there as well. We rode the city bus everywhere that we went. I'll tell you, it was quite an adventure every time that we did. We first had to walk about 15 minutes to the first bus stop. Also, the bus drivers seemed to be competing for fares as they drove very quickly and made frequent hard stops. You clearly enjoyed every minute of these mini adventures. It was a very relaxing 10 days away from the normal chaos of our lives and we enjoyed every minute of it. Well, almost every minute. There was the one time that we were walking back from Walmart with bags full of groceries and it started to rain. I'll save that story for another day.
